Spiritual and emotional support for patients and their loved ones
Loma Linda University Medical Center chaplains are available at all times to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, their families and friends at our Loma Linda University hospitals and our clinics: Medical Center, Children's Hospital, Heart and Surgical Hospital, East Campus and the Behaviorial Medicine Center. Our chaplains visit patients just to see how they are doing, for a chat, to offer a word of encouragement or offer a chance to pray together.
Chaplains are assigned to each unit and make every effort to visit all patients regularly. There is also a chaplain on call 24 hours-a-day.
If you would like to contact our chaplain services at 909-558-4367 or email us at Chaplainserv@llu.edu.
I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. God’s Love.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Lord, out of your understanding and mercy reach out to me. Hold me, comfort me, let One thing never changes, It remains the same forever, God truly loves His children And He will forsake them never.
